Wayne's World
I'm not a real big fan of Austin Powers and Dr. Evil, but I'm a huge
fan of Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar. Since Mike Meyers starred as Wayne on SNL, I've
been addicted. I've actually stayed up late Saturday Nights back when I was in 7th grade.
Being sneaky so my parents wouldn't find out. The movie was just like the skits on SNL,
only on a much bigger set. "I'm the Leprechaun!" |

The Professional
Another Gary Oldman movie. Also starring a very young Natalie Portman.
You guys know her as Queen Amidala. This movie was so great because it dealt with family
as well as death. Amidala wants to become a hitman to kill her parents murderers, even
though they're cops. It was funny to see Amidala as a sniper. |

The Fifth Element
The last of my favorite Gary Oldman movies. He always plays the bad guy
for some reason. This movie was so fascinating because it was futuristic, but not to the
point of Sci-Fi. Chris Tucker is annoying, but what can you do about it. The opera was
touching. |
 28.
The Sixth Sense
Another Bruce Willis movie. I have no idea why they call it a Bruce
Willis movie. It was more like a Haley Joel Osment movie. This movie had the most
surprising ending ever! Everyone that I went with had no idea that that would be the
ending. My favorite scene had to be the part when Willis' character realizes there are
ghosts in the world from the tape recording of a previous session. |
 29.
The Saint
This movie was good with makeup and disguises. Val Kilmer stars in this
movie with Elizabeth Shue. Kilmer uses so many disguises in this movie it's hard to tell
it's really him. The plot was kind of off-beat with cold fusion and the struggle between
it, but it made an excellent movie. |
 30.
Enemy of the State
I absolutely loved this movie. I so want to work for the NSA after
watching this. Who would have thought the government had this much technology! That is, if
they have that technology. I want to be able to take a security camera video and rotate
the picture 100 degrees around it's radius. Godamn that was awesome. |
 31.
Pulp Fiction
A movie that had the most noticeable dance scene. This movie was great
in that it brought a lot of famous people into one movie. Travolta, Willis, Jackson,
Thurman and so forth, were all great. The plot was the best. Other movies tried to copy
the format, but nothing beat Pulp Fiction. A true masterpiece by Scorsese. "I will
strike down upon thee with great vengence, and furious anger. Those who poison and destroy
my brothers!" |
 32.
Stand By Me
An excellent Stephen King novel made into a movie. Stand By Me is an
oldie but goodie. I didn't even know it was a King novel until someone pointed it out to
me a few years back. Four boys, some famous now, go on an adventure to find a dead body.
Hilarious scenes include the wading into a lake full of leeches, and the gun fight between
the bullies. |

Can't Hardly Wait
This movie wasn't as great as it could be, but it still makes a good
movie to watch. People say it's a Jennifer Love Hewitt movie, and they don't want to see
it because of that, are wrong. This movie starred SO many people. I counted at least 20
actors/actresses that I noticed from several other movies. It was a good movie, but the
commentary on the DVD is what makes it all worth while. |
 34.
Dazed and Confused
This movie was so hilarious! Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll, baby! This
movie contained alot of actors that are huge now. Ben Affleck, that Ed dude from EdTV,
that chick from Big Daddy, and plenty more. It's a pretty good movie about entering high
school and making friends. I wish we could do to the freshmen what the seniors did in the
movie. =) |
 35.
Reality Bites
I only put this movie up here because I liked the soundtrack =) It was
a good movie though. If I remember, the movie is about a girl torn between two loves. If
I'm wrong, oh well. |
 36.
A League of Their Own
Women's baseball. Didn't know it existed? Well, it did and this movie
tells about the it's first season. Tom Hanks stars as the coach of the Rockford Peaches.
It's basically about the first season and how they made the game famous amongst the
public. My favorite scene has got to be the one when Hanks takes a piss in the girls
locker room that lasted for about 5 minutes. Oh yeah! Madonna is also in it. |
 37.
With Honors
A young Brendan Frasier as college student working on his thesis. But
something goes terribly wrong when his hard drive crashes (funny, especially with those OG
green text screens) and loses his only copy to a bum (Joe Pesci). This bum, of course is
smart, and blackmails Frasier. He must receive one act of kindness for 1 page of his
thesis. So Pesci shacks up with Frasier and his roommates and become friends. Pretty good
movie. My favorite scene is when Pesci astounds the students with his knowledge in what I
believe was a Philosophy class. |
 38.
The Sandlot
My first favorite baseball movie. Of course, it's for kids, but come
on! This movie is, of course, about the love of baseball. Some dorky kid moves into the
neighborhood and makes friends with the local kids that love baseball. They teach him how
to play, and after that, it's all downhill. This kid, not knowing who Babe Ruth is, jacks
an autographed ball from his dad and starts playing with it. He hits a homerun and it goes
over the fence where "The Beast" is. The rest of the movie is about retrieving
the ball. My favorite scene is when a little boy pretends to drown to get a kiss from the
lifeguard. |
 39.
Rookie of the Year
Another baseball movie, but a bit more unreal. A kid tightens a
ligament in his arm, causing him to throw a baseball at incredible speeds. He then becomes
the star pitcher of a major league baseball team. The antics start there. My favorite
scene starts when he loses his "gift" and the MLB team starts playing school
ground baseball with Statue of Liberty plays and what not. |
 40.
Rudy
A very good football movie. Notre Dame is the team and this kid wants
to play for them badly, even though he wasn't accepted to the school. He tries hard and
gets in and tries out for the team. He gets on, barely, but is basically a bench-warmer
the entire season. In the last game, the coach reluctantly puts him in, and in the first
play, he tackles the QB. Excellent movie about determination. I think this movie was based
on a true story too. My favorite scene was the one mentioned above. |
 41.
Basketball Diaries
This is the movie the media blamed saying it caused the Columbine
incident. Bullshit. This movie rocked. It was perhaps the most realistic movie I've seen.
There are way too many scenes that were my favorite to mention. You go to see it for
yourself. |
 42.
Summer School
Although I've only seen the TV edited version, this movie was funny!
It's basically about a bunch of flunkies that have to go to summer school, and a PE
teacher forced to teach English. The teacher bribes the students to come to class and
learn. The movie goes on with the teacher fulfilling his bribes and the students actually
learning. There's one scene when the whole class scares off the replacement of the teacher
with GORE! |
 43.
Stand and Deliver
Who took the Calculus AP test in high school? Well, this is a movie
about just that. Garfield High School, in the ghetto (singing as Cartman), took this test
and was accused of cheating because everyone got a 5. It was just that they had a great
teacher, and so the students had to retake the test. The ending is great. =) |
 44.
Twins
A comedy with Arnold and Danny Devito. They're twins! HAHAHA That's
hilarious in itself. Arnold was genetically enhanced, and Devito was "the
leftovers." They reunite and try to find their mother. Good story, however
unbelievable. I still say Arnold is better off with action movies. |
 45.
Batman
Yes, only the first one with Jack Nicholson. The sequels to Batman got
worse and worse, since they change Batmans and directors and stuff. The first was the
best. My favorite scene has to be Joker re-painting the pictures in the museum. |
 46.
Conspiracy Theory
A Gibson movie? WTF? Well, this was a good movie because it's
interesting to see if the government actually does this stuff. This movie tells us a lot
of theories that CAN be true. They tell it in such a way that makes it believable. Gibson
does a real good job acting in this one. Better than any of the Lethal Weapons. "NO!
NOT GRAVY!" |
 47.
Bloodsport
Van-Damme in an early movie. This is my favorite Van-Damme movie. Based
on a true story, it's about Frank Dux who conquered the Kumite. Even though there were
four parts in this series, Van-Damme only did the first one, the best one. They used Cody
from Step-By-Step, that old TGIF show, for the the other three parts. The last fight is
always my favorite. |
 48.
Toy Story
Who doesn't like Toy Story? It's such a great movie, and well animated.
I really liked part one over two. Part one was better because they have to develop each
character, while in part two, you already knew everyone and their personalities. My
favorite scene is when Buzz gives up all hope and Woody asks him to give him a hand. Buzz
then throws his detached arm at Woody. |
 49.
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
This is the one of the first of the high school comedies, including
American Pie. This movie is basically the same as American Pie, but it deals mostly
between a brother and sister and their separate sexual lives. It's pretty damn hilarious.
My favorite scene includes the part when the brother was caught masturbating by the girl
he was fantasizing about. WOOPS! |
 50.
Army of Darkness
If you haven't seen this movie, you're not worthy. This movie was a
comedy horror. HILARIOUS! "THIS IS MY BOOMSTICK!" It's basically about a guy
going into some book and saving the girl. He has a shotgun, his truck and a chainsaw as
his weapons. Eventually, the chainsaw becomes his arm. Pretty bad effects compared to
today, but still worthy of one of my picks. |
