CRUSING THE INSIDE PASSAGE:
SUMMER VACATION 2001

By: Rice & Gerry
Date: 7/21/01

'Twas another gloomy
day upon arrival to
Ketchikan.
Lots of small water-
planes circled the area.
Ketchikan was the most
industrialized city we
visited. That black dude
got in my picture. =(

I didn't survive long
enough to take this
shot. It's from my
parents' archive.
My parents mingling
with our waiters. The
water-boy on the left is
an aggressive refiller.
The Celebrity Theatre
where we watched the
Broadway musicals.

These were the dinner
tables we dined at every
night. Posh & elegant.
That's our rooms! We
were on the 7th floor.
It's not as dark as the
picture shows.
The Oceanview buffet.
Aptly named. Wonderful
views available.

Here's the ship's lobby.
It spans 3 stories and
is home to various
entertainment venues.
Tilt your head sideways
for this shot. It's the
lobby again. I apologize
for it being off-centered.
This place is called the
Conservatory for some
reason. It's just an
indoor garden of sorts.

This is the upper deck
of the Infinity. As you
can see, no babes in
sight. =(
There's a pool and a
jacuzzi. Crazy kids...
swimming in this
weather.

The Trellis orchestra
plays during our dinner.
Too bad they didn't
know any Limp Bizkit.

Another shot of where
the orchestra is
stationed. Trellis has
two dining levels.
The blessed elevators.
If not for them, we'd have
to hike up stairs!
Me working hard at
hacking their internet.
Kindly ignore my
brother behind me.

The forward deck of the
ship. Once again, the
babe-watch comes up
empty. =(
Trellis Restaurant
(As if you couldn't
figure that out).
We avoided the stairs as
much as humanly
possible.

"On an island in the
sun... we'll be playin'
and havin' fun..."
Home sweet home. My
cousin's PS2 was
waiting for me. This
is the life, man.
