*NFC EAST*

.) Philadelphia Eagles - The Eagles have all the pieces in place: a Pro Bowl QB, a good young WR corps, and two of the best receiving RBs in the business, as well as a top notch defense featuring one of the most feared secondaries in the league. They're a Super Bowl-caliber team. The addition of Antonio Freeman gives them a great red zone presence.
.) Dallas Cowboys - Can this be the year where my being a Cowboys fan finally stops eliciting shame? The loss of Rocket Ismail doesn't help the matters, but Dallas has one of the better, most improved D's in the NFL. Look for rookie Antonio Bryant to perform ably, and safety Roy Williams to be the Defensive Rookie of the Year.
.) Washington Redskins - I'm actually excited about Steve Spurrier's NFL coaching debut. One game into the preseason he was already accused of running up the scores. You gotta love the Fun 'n Gun. The addition of Marvin Lewis as defensive coordinator will work wonders. Lavar Arrington will break out as a Ray Lewis-type, and signee Jeremiah Trotter is a stud.
.) New York Giants - This team is pathetic. They run one of the worst offenses through one of the worst starting QBs. So they have RB's Tiki Barber and Ron Dayne, Lightining and Thunder. Big deal. Their running game is undefined, and their defense is overrated. But TE Jeremy Shockey might just be the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
