1.) Pittsburgh Steelers - I can't ever remember the Steelers being bad. Mediocre, sometimes, but mostly the team has been stellar over the years. That's a testament to Bill Cowher's coaching prowess. The Bus & Famous Amos Zereoue are the true lightning and thunder of the NFL. The only weak link? Kordell at QB.
2.) Cleveland Browns - William Green had better live up to his rookie hype. Both Gerry and I invested our precious waivers for him. Actually, the Brownies don't look that bad on paper (rising QB in Couch, dependable WR in Kevin Johnson, and promising RB in Green), but as ESPN puts it, chemistry is just as important as talent.
3.) Cincinnati Bengals - Cincy is one team that seems to always have oodles of talent, but never the chemistry. Corey Dillon can flat out rush, and Peter Warrick & Michael Westbrook have all-world potential waiting to be unlocked by.... Gus Frerotte?? Uh, yeah. Pencil in another season in the gutters.
4.) Baltimore Ravens - Jeez, how the mighty has fallen. Ray Lewis is the only recognizable face on the defense that terrorized the league two seasons ago. Can we say, rebuilding?
