How can we, self proclaimed movie critics of Rice World, let the new years transgress without pumping out a top 10 list of our own? So without further ado, Gerry and I boldly declare our 10 worst and best movies of Y2K, ranked. His comments are in black. Mines are in navy blue. Let the heads roll:

TEN WORST MOVIES OF 2000:

10. Where The Heart Is

--> I know, I know. Natalie Portman and Ashley Juggs are in this movie. But I shoulda just watched this movie w/ the mute button on, 'cause it reeked. White trailer trash chick flick.

--> You know... I'm sorta ashamed to admit this, but I actually kinda liked this movie.......

9. Pay It Forward

--> You dare to manipulate me???

--> Wanted to see it. Not anymore.

8. Scream 3

--> Once Jenny McCarthy bit the dust, this movie started to reek.

--> It's sad how far the trilogy has deviated from the original brilliant Scream.

7. The Cell

--> What an original concept! Rip off known pieces of art and video games, and call it original. The Cell reeks of self-important fluff. All style, no substance.

--> Universally praised by critics... but that don't impress us much!

6. Scary Movie

--> All penis jokes. Reek....

--> Disgusting, boring, and not at all funny. Hm... the word I'm looking for is LAME.
